Improving the Holidays

By Yvonne Brixey

A letter from Santa. Is there anything more wonderful for a child to receive than a letter signed and written by Santa Claus? Well, I can't really think of anything. Letters are sent from every which way in the world. Usually it isn't children receiving these letters. Letters are usually bills or other grown up things. But a letter from Santa is sometimes the only chance a child has for receiving a letter.

Christmas time is filled with children laughing and people singing. I love Christmas, it is the best time of the year. I would suggest for all children everywhere to write a letter to santa, and in return they will then receive a letter from Santa. How great would that be for children everywhere to receive a personalized letter from Santa? I know that it won't happen unless we encourage our children to write letters to Santa. I think that writing Santa letters is a great way for children to learn to improve their writing. I mean, every child wants their letter to be perfect when writing to Santa. They want to receive a letter from Santa, so it is perfect for them to learn basic formatting and sentence skills.

I have heard of all sorts of letters from santa. I have heard of letters that tell the children what it is that they are sure to expect this coming Christmas. I have heard of a letter from Santa that actually thanked the child for being so nice and good that year. It is important for children everywhere to receive that letter from Santa so that they can really feel of the spirit of Christmas and get excited about everything. Santa is a very busy man, but is willing to write to these children if they are willing to write him. Everyone can expect a letter from Santa if they put in the time and effort.

I have heard that the north pole is littered with elves. These elves look a bit child like, and help Santa with all of his work. They help him sort out the letters, they even help him send out the letters. But if you ever receive a letter from Santa you can be sure that it is actually from him. The elves do not help with that part of the Santa letters process. So why should we strive to receive this wonderful, amazing, north pole stamped letter from Santa? Well, because nothing will bring Christmas spirit into your heart that a letter from Santa.

So many children in the world. So many different requests of gifts for Christmas. There are millions of children who want things for Christmas, and almost all of those millions of children want more than one gift. That is a lot of stuff for Santa to look through. But if you receive a letter from Santa saying he is going to get you what you want, you can be dang sure that you will receive those gifts for Christmas. Santa does not go back on what he says. Santa is a man of his word. So be sure to write Santa a letter, because if you receive a letter from Santa saying you are going to get what you asked for, you will most definitely get it.Improving the Holidays
