The History of Kings Cross And The Arguments Why You Should Stop In A Local Budget Hotel

When people visit the Central London, the usual thought is to stay in a Kings Cross hotel or in hotels near its famous stations. Kings Cross was both featured in the movie Harry Potter wherein the famous Platform 9 is located and in it was used as a backdrop in the musical video of the Pet Shop Boys called "Rent".

The Beginnings of Kings Cross:

Kings Cross started as a rural area in Central London. Kings Cross begun as a rural settlement area situated in Central London. The Fleet River and the ancient crossing over it were the primary reasons the area was named "Battle Bridge". Spa enterprises began to sprout in the eighteenth century, due to the Fleet River's springs. And for that, it became popular. Industries were built which include gas works, but many of them failed. There were industries that came but many of them failed, including the gas works. Houses together with the statue of Kings Henry VIII were planned to be built in the area. Due to that statue of King Henry VIII, the name Battle Bridge was changed to Kings Cross. When talking about Kings Cross, it is commonly sometimes also referred to the Kings Cross railway station. While is true that the railways resulted in great change for Kings Cross, the two are very different. Locals in Kings Cross will definitely admit that the construction of the underground lines have gravely changed a lot about the area. Though it became a tourist spot, many were deprived of their homes but were still given an affordable housing through flats and buildings projects.

Kings Cross and several restaurants will easily be reached by just taking a short walk from the hotel. The hotel is also very famous because of its decorated rooms with quality and stylish furniture.

Tourists and locals can get together in Kings Cross hotels to meet new friends and share new ideas. People from all over the world visiting the area can actually group and visit the tourist spots together, with the locals as their guide. Everybody can then relate and tell each other new insights and lessons they have just learned by just visiting the nearby places. Definitely a motivating and learning experience for them.
