This started in 1800s where gold miners realized that grapes are so rich and plentiful that it is almost a sin not to harvest it and turn it into wine. Ever since then, Lodi wineries produce quite a lot of wine cases along with bulk wines that comes out without any label each and every year. Owned by the Mencarinin Brothers, Abundance Vineyards undeniably has a lot to offer. With Jim Yerkes working on the wine production process, it is well-known for their many varieties of wine such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Dessert wine, Chardonnay, Merlot, Red Blends, Petite Sirah, Sparkling wine, White Blends, Syrah and Zinfandel on top of others. While touring the estate, the visitors can take advantage of the picnic areas, shows and performances there, giving the grandest time to their guests

D'art Wines boasts as having great wine in the Lodi wineries and their tasting room has a classy dcor, ambiance and looks amazingly graceful. Their tasting room is sufficiently sized to accommodate even a relatively larger party and visitors enjoy free tasting of wines and gets complimentary food as well like their amazing chocolate chips and chilli.

Duckhorn Vineyards is a top-rated boutique winery in Lodi wine country. Its expertise lies in making the most excellent Merlot in the whole region. Built by Dan Duckhorn in 1976, he has manages to consistently increase his yearly production which now totals to over a staggering 20,000 cases. The winery makes rationed single Cabernet Sauvignons and Merlots together with less costly varieties but equally famed Sauvignon Blanc. Mr. Duckhorn was named the "Winemaker of the Year" in 2005 by the San Francisco Chronicle. Upto this day, the vineyard has adopted several different brands onto their wines like the 'Migration' and 'Decoy'.

Van Ruiten Family Winery is located at the mid-way between San Francisco Bay Delta and Sierra Foothills and is owned by Van Ruiten family. The unique climate influenced by the delta characterized by a cool afternoon breeze has been notable in spearheading success of many Lodi wineries including Van Ruiten Family Winery. They produced their first variety of Van Ruiten wine in 1999 and the rest has been history.

The Jessie's Grove Winery is situation right in between the slopes of Sierra Nevada and Sacramento- San Joaquin Delta in Lodi region. Due to this, they are in the position of sustaining grape planting and harvesting, as well as wine production. The vineyard produces premium quality wines such as the 2010 Jessence Blanc, 2011 Muscat Blanc, 2012 Chardonnay, 2010 Dry rose and other classic varietals.
