The United States Auto Club or USAC is one of the permitted bodies in the United States for an auto racing. For few years, it support the United States National championship and today it also supported the Indianapolis 500. Nowadays, the usac sprint car racing series provides a full support for these series, which includes the Ignite ethanol fuel, National Midget, National sprint car and the silver crown series.

Generally, the most powered racing vehicles are sprint cars. These are perfectly designed to be able to run in a short oval, paved or a circular dirt track. This type of car racing is very popular in the United states, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia and Canada. These composed of a high power ratio that makes a speed of 140 miles per hour.

It composed a total output of power that reached 900 to 1,100 horsepower of machines. Through this, safety measure is implemented since it began and it keeps on developing until to this generation. Drivers of the Indy car series and NASCAR are utilizing a sprinting automobile for a certain division as a stepping stone for a higher profile event.

In the recent years, the competition for this division is developed more to achieve a new mandate for safety regulations. These include the used of a roll cage for the protection of a driver, alcohol fuel, a fuel tank bladder to avoid leakage, safety harness for beginners and the standards for a driver. All drivers must also wear driving gloves.

There are requirements that are added to the current safety guidelines. These include the use of helmets, the arm, neck, and head restraint system usage. The mandatory for a headrest usage and rock screens for a roll cage. All of these are some of the general requirements for the safety guidelines.

There are two kinds of sprint cars, the winged and the non winged kind. The winged automobile was first created in 1958. This was a great feature, so every driver placed some wings to their cars. This is intended for a full force power of the automobile that gives the right control direction on many ways. It provides the sideboards to turn the automobile to the corners. It also increases a fast control and a maximize traction.

Installing the wings is also a precautionary measure to reduce the risk of airborne. If an automobile goes airborne, it can absorb a certain effect of the flip. It serves as a great protection for most drivers during an accident. Most team members are replacing the wings of their vehicles during a stoppage and return it back when the race resumed.

A non winged vehicle becomes popular in Australia. Wingless automobiles are referred as nos sprints. It is powered by an engine of six cylinder and can reach a speed of 180 kilometers per hour. It composed the same body structure just like a sprint car. The difference is that it has no wings.

This competition is not only considering the kinds of vehicles used by the racers, the organization also ensures that each driver is safe throughout the track. Whether, they join the track for fun or to gain popularity, safety must be considered first. Through following the proper guidelines, surely everyone can obtain an enjoyable race track experience.
