5 Fun Things To Do In Leeds For The Family

If you're planning on traveling to Leeds in the near future then there's a number of exciting things you can do to enjoy yourself. The subsequent things to do in Leeds will entertain families, groups, couples or individuals.

1. Elland Road - Dwelling of the one time mighty Leeds United! Okay so you're probably not going to come to Leeds to go to see Elland Road unless there was a Football match on, in which case you don't have to read this piece of writing. Read on anyway for some great stuff to see!

2. Kirkstall Abbey - One of the oldest and best preserved cistercian monasteries in the realm. Kirkstall Abbey is set in lavish parkland on the bank of the river Aire. It is free of charge to enter and gaze about and learn the history of this amazing national treasure. The Kirkstall Abbey museum is over the road and includes Victorian streets with old shops such as Cobblers and Blacksmiths.

3. White Rose Shopping Centre - A lovely and spacious shopping centre containing everybody's most liked stores and shops. The White Rose Shopping Centre has a great food court with many restaurants and places to eat.

4. Roundhay Park - Roundhay Park is gigantic and has a lake, cycle paths, live concert venue and the magnificent Tropical World where you can observe many exotic creatures and plant life! The park is a a small number of miles out of the city centre and away from the hustle and hum!

5. Victoria Arcade - Leeds has lots of arcades all emergent from Briggate the major shopping road. However the most well-known of these arcades is the Victoria Arcade. This is a collection of streets that has been roofed and consists of the pick of Leeds' expensive stores and cafes! It is trouble-free to relax within Victoria Arcade by its brilliant fountain and of course, Harvey Nichols is attached onto it.
