Paintball Gun Stock and Other Important Paintball Accessories

By Jerry Benson

Perhaps the most important asset in paintball is the marker. Many players emphasis this importance by customizing their paintball gun to the best it can be. This is understandable as having a good marker on the field that can keep up with you is definitely a good thing.

For many guns, such as the Tippmann, Spyder, or Ion, there are many, many upgrades available. Its almost incredible at how many upgrades there are available for these guns, and sometimes in fact, it can be dizzying.

To make your search for excellent gun accessories easier, you should first be aware that some accessories should be avoided in the primary stages of upgrading your marker. Many players make the mistake of spending money on only upgrades that boost your markers rate of fire. While shooting 1000 balls per second may seem important, it really isn't. More important is your guns accuracy. If you can't hit what your aiming at, then you can't eliminate your opponents. Sure, you could leave the amount of balls your fast paintball gun can spit into the air, but when it takes 100 balls to hit 1 target... then you probably should focus more on your accuracy.

Few players would argue that accuracy is not valuable, as to argue against it would merit a kick to the head. On the paintball field, many moments arise where one ball shots can change the game... and those situations happen a lot! With that said, you should take a look at the accuracy boosting accessories for paintball guns below.

So which upgrades can increase your markers accuracy? There are 2 key ones that play an integral role in improving it. The first of which is the barrel. Having a barrel that has an inner diameter that fit's the paint you are shooting is the key. If you have a precise yet unrestricted fit, then optimal accuracy will be achieved.

The second accuracy improving accessory is the stock - which is the ending topic of this article. A stock will provide you the stabilization and control you need to produce super accurate shots.
