Anyone who plans to spend time on any of the state's waterways should be aware of New Jersey boating safety hints and tips that should always be followed. By taking the time to become aware of these, you will help to keep the water safe. Many accidents can be prevented by learning to be safe.

Be aware of the weather. Take the time to check your local forecast right before departing. This will help you be alerted to any sudden storms that might be expected to pop up.
