Bring layers of clothing and dress right. Unlike the typical fishing done in shallow water, you will have to be exposed in an environment with a cooler temperature. Guide. For your safety, its best if you bring with you a guide who is a local to the area and who is an expert in fishing. He or she can either navigate the charter or can serve as your mentor in case you need to know some basic things about fishing once you already reach the area.

Cash. Its better to bring cash since its more convenient. Credit cards are efficient when you are in a busy place like a city. But for an area surrounded by bodies of water, the best way to purchase something is by cash. Bring some cash with you just to be sure.

The success of this activity can be affected with the amount of preparation that you do. Make it a point to take care of the details ahead of time. This will make the trip safer and more convenient.
