Avid hikers should already be familiar with the climb up to the top of Amicalola Falls. It is not considered a dangerous climb because there are stairs with railings for everyone to use. However, for anyone who is not fit for such a journey, there is also a road that they can take to the top, so everyone gets to enjoy the view together.

There are few speedy hikers at the nearby Springer Trail, however. There are two possible ways up Springer Mountain, one is a difficult hike and the other intermediary. So, for those who are still up for one last adventure, hiking this world-famous route at the doorway to the Appalachian Trail offers the final evening of rough camping in a beautiful mountain wilderness.
