Getting Around Safely in Costa Dorada and Costa Blanca

By Catherine McCulloch

If you're in search of a safe environment to take the children on holiday, there are lots of ways you can ensure you pick a family friendly spot. Spend a little time digging deeper on sites such as tripadvisor.com in order to ensure that you get the best you can for your buck.

If you're feeling uncertain about taking the youngsters to the beach, then take them to one of the Costa Dorada water parks. With a variety of different rides, slides and pools to explore, there are plenty of ways to amuse yourself, and you'll find it a struggle to get the kids to leave at the end of the day.

The Costa Dorada is one example of a destination that meets all of the above criteria. Try taking them to a water park in the area. Remember to pack lots of snacks, juice and of course to slap on the sun cream regularly. If you want to lounge by the pool for a bit and regain your strengths, the lifeguards on duty can take over and watch your children for you.

The Costa Blanca is another great place to keep the kids entertained as there are plenty of cavernous cliffs and coves for the children to potter around in, supervised of course. Although we don't recommend letting them loose on their own, it's a good excuse to spend some quality time together while taking in some of the local landscape.

Head up to one of the quaint little villages that are steeped in Moorish villages and bursting with olive trees and you can be sure that you and the children will receive a lavish local welcome. There are numerous secret coves that the children can explore as you sit back and enjoy the peace and tranquillity.
