Lack of proper etiquette when looking for the best places to park by Seatac can create unnecessary inconveniences for everyone. There are minor things that people normally ignore when using a parking lots which if are kept in mind will save everyone a lot of headache. You will feel better when you know that your proper use of this public space made things for others around you. You actually do not have to do very big things. Just behave as you should while at the parking area.

Shopping malls and other crowded places normally have limited garage spots. It is common to find a few people who squeeze their cars into small spaces. It is easy to tell when a spot is too small for your car. Forcing your car into a place where it should not be makes things difficult for other drivers. Your small mistake can create a series of accidents near that garage spot.

Just like when driving on the road, you will there are also rules that regulate how cars should be driven in the parking area. It seems rather obvious that you need to drive at a limited speed in a parking area. When you drive faster than you should, you put the other cars in the area in danger as well as the pedestrians. Small children, the handicapped and elderly people may also be walking around the area.

Even though children enjoy pushing the shopping carts within the shopping mall, you should never let them push the carts in a parking area. Especially when the parking area has steep areas, it is very likely that they will bump into other cars. Since they will be distracted, cars backing out from the parking spots may also hit them.

When parking your car, ensure that your car is pulled as far as possible into the marked space. This way you will leave enough space for cars driving in or out. You make it possible for pedestrians to find space to walk along. When the car is not properly parked, you make it difficult for adjacent drivers to easily back up because they are blinded on one side by the car.

Use one way driving lanes as you are required. Even slow moving vehicles can cause accidents. Do not assume that every other driver on that lane is seeing you. All other drivers expect that you will keep the one way rule and so they may not check the wrong side when backing out.

The most misused spots are those reserved for the elderly and handicapped. Although it may appear as though they are always empty, you do not have a right to park there unless you qualify. You may cause a handicapped person a lot of trouble in case they come and get parking spots that are further away from the entrance.

Try as much as possible to keep the best places to park by Seatac clean. Most people do not care where they throw fliers, receipts or business information they find underneath your windshield wipers. The building management will provide places where you can dispose off trash. Alternatively you can carry them in your car until you get home and throw it away at the proper place.
