Importance Of Bhutan Cultural Tours In Education

By Kevin Howard

Cultural exchange is necessary for students all over the world. Remember that education and ability to access knowledge are the key factors to promote cultural heritage. As part of the curriculum, it is relevant to involve Bhutan cultural tours into learning. Through the tours, the students will get involved in both the tangible and intangible cultural heritage. Students need to be exposed to the outside world which enhances educational development.

Students need to be taught how to reason beyond their immediate environment. In order to minimize the rates of racial sensitivity, the students should be exposed to the different cultures of different communities. Most students do not get the opportunity to participate in embracing and promoting their cultural heritage. As a way to motivate the students to take part in these activities, they need to be exposed. Below are some benefits of the traditional trips to students.

With the new technology, most people are forgetting their cultures within the society. However, during these trips, people get a chance to experience the traditional heritage of a community. Through the sharing, it is a way to preserve the culture. Through the cultural exchange, people get to understand the cultures of other communities. Through their entertainment, they are able to preserve their customs, traditions, and crafts and also educating others.

During the trips, the students are able to share meaningful connections with the people of a particular community. The learners have the opportunity to interact with the locals and learn more about their traditions and believe. It is even possible to find things that they are passionate about their ethical traditions. It might be hard to interact with people from a different community due to language barrier however they are bound to connect when they share a similar passion.

Another benefit of these trips is the great impact they have on the thinking and perspectives of the learners towards a particular community. During the trips, the students get to interact and enjoy the different traditions. They will get to understand unlike hearing from other people being a part of that community really had an impact. They will get to understand the need to accept and respect the traditions and customs of different ethical communities.

Learning should also involve the practical part for better understanding. They will get exposed to the real world and get first-hand information. In most cases, the students learn about the traditions and origin of a particular community from their history lessons. However, during the trips, they also get to understand and also break the classroom monotony. Besides from learning they make learning more interesting and students get to ask relevant questions.

Besides from classwork, the students get to create new memories that they make with their friends during the trip. Taking the students to a new environment allows them to learn to work together as a team in a normal group outside the class. They get new and fun learning experiences.

Students need to understand the different cultures in order to appreciate them this can be achieved through the traditional trips. They get to learn both the differences and similarities between different ethnic communities.
