Lymington is a Georgian market town with recognition as a sailing resort. There are sailing and rowing clubs. Visitors can bathe in one of the country's last open-air seawater facilities. The baths were constructed toward the end of the Regency Era.

Finding a bed and breakfast New Forest area is easy. The problem with coming to the seaside resort location is that it's hard to work in all the things that you want to do in just one over-nighter. You will have to allow time to be active, as well as time to just watch the wildlife across the meadow.
