By Adriana Noton

Trade show booths that are uniquely designed, economical to maintain, very simple in design and structure and highly interactive will facilitate marketing success. The pictures used and the messages painted on the inside and outside of any stall should be as simple as possible if success in marketing is desired. To make any stall to be interactive, its interiors and exteriors should reflect the tastes, preferences and professions of potential customers.

A potential customer in this niche is any person attending the trade show in question. Such a person can be having information on the product being advertised or he can be a person who has never heard about the product being advertised. With a good marketing strategy, potential customers will be made to be actual customers.

An interactive stall is the one designed with total consideration of the professions of potential customers. A potential customer can be a successful farmer, a hardworking businessmen or even a student with big dreams. If most potential customers will be farmers, agricultural themes must feature. Agricultural themes include themes on organic farming, genetic farming, exotic animal breeds and hybrid animals. If a huge percentage of potential customers will be university students, themes having educational information must feature. Educational information can be information on theoretical aspects such as philosophies and history of agriculture.

To make more people to visit one's show booth, one should organize interactive tests and games for the audience. A prize should be offered to a person who wins a particular test or game. The questions asked in a particular test should be questions which are easy to people in the target audience. Games and tests will make the marketing activity to have some fun instead of being only about promoting a particular good or service.

A unique booth will stand out easily. Having a unique stand involves spending a lot of time towards brainstorming. If the marketing activity will involve a number of people, they should all be involved in brainstorming sessions. One must not copy the ideas of competitors. Copying ideas of competitors may end up derailing one's marketing effort. The themes, dramas, pictures and messages used must be as original as possible.

Pictures, illustrations and messages used should all be original and simple. A simple illustration will be understood within seconds while a complex illustration can at times not be understood. A simple original message will stick to the minds of potential customers.

The booth owner will come up with suitable messages and will also determine suitable themes. Such an individual informs and educates visitors on different issues relating to his product. Booth owner is required to carry out research to establish the accuracy of information he plans to give to people.
