By Mr Kamol Yodsuwan

Are you considering holidays to Vietnam? Hotels in Saigon are pretty cheap considering the kind of rooms available. Most hotels are really reputable and have clean rooms with good facilities. The only exception is the really low cost stays in not great areas. You do have to be careful when booking that you find a place that is in a better area.

If you want to send postcards home or other letters then post offices stay open all night in Saigon. This is a great area for food because it's low cost. There are some really delicious places to sample food and there's usually something open at all hours of the day and night.

In this area budget accommodation is plentiful. To give an example of cost room rates can cost anywhere from 50 dollars upwards. You do have to be careful when choosing the hotel to make sure it's in a decent area. However most hotels that are more expensive are in better class areas.

Many business people locate the area especially those who have a lot of travel. Travelling is very low priced, taxi's can be hired for the whole day at a price you can afford. There are some bad points with all places, but one of the nightmares is crossing the road. The area is very populated especially by traffic. However it's also possible to find quieter areas in the vicinity. It's not all bad though, far from it.

There are high-ceiling European style cafe's offering fresh juices and breakfasts. Plenty of excellent accommodation also offer breakfast and other meals for those that do not want to eat out or self cater. Some accommodation also put on entertainment and have bars or other types of night life.

Saigon is an excellent choice of venue with plenty of cafe's and other eating places. Most hotels offer a breakfast and the choice of paying for other meals. If you want to spend the day out then you will be able to find plenty of low cost eating places. There are scenic walks including a river that you will want to check out.
