South Africa is a wonderfully warm and friendly country with so much history and culture that it is impossible to every little thing in one, single vacation trip. Read on if you are interested in finding out exactly what this nation has to offer.

When you decide to go to South Africa, you have to make time to check out some of the beaches. We have 3 "Blue Flag" beaches in and around the Cape. They are some of the cleanest, whitest and most stunning beaches worldwide. The water temp will depend on which beach you see, so be aware of that. For instance, along the West Coastline, the waters are freezing however great for surfing, if you are brave enough, and in Gordon's Bay, the water is warm and pleasant to swim in. When you visit and are with a tourist guide, then they will suggest good beachesregarding warm and cold water beaches. If you are traveling by yourself, then Google will be a big aid, however then so will the Capetonians, if you ask somebody, as they are very friendly and relaxed. The South African trips are among the most convenient ways to get around SA and experience all the history and culture without burning out the kids to death! You get to see a few of the most historic sites and see some really amazing things, and not have to stress over automobile hire, maps or GPS, getting lost or looking for parking anywhere. Tours are a wonderful option to self drive vacations.

South African holidays are not complete without a drive up along the Garden Route. Here you will see some of the most stunning landscapes. Along the Garden Route you will find small little spots completely surrounded by the stark beauty of Africa. There are 100's of little guest houses and camp sites to stop over at and experience South African hospitality at its finest. Stop in, and let the small town friendliness welcome you.

Further up you will find the Map of Africa, so called because when you stand at the precipice overlooking the void; it looks almost precisely like the map of Africa! Here you will experience the raw magnificence of our land. The view goes on for miles and the air is clear and crisp. And just a little way from the Map, is where the daredevil in you can experience the most exhilarating sport around; paragliding! The best thing is you do not require any experience and will have the spectacular panoramic view to take the most spectacular pictures of your holiday. And if you prefer not to fly, then you can delight in some of the most gorgeous beaches in South Africa and build up a wicked tan.

All in all, a visit to SA is a must do for everybody looking for variety and a great deal of fun.
